how do i adjust the idle on my 99 ford escort se

Joe you can but you cant if you raise it up the comp will bring it back down. if you are having a idle problem take a look at your throttle body and see if you have oil in it or is it just dirty if so just clean it and your idle will come back.let me know if it is dirty i'll tell you how to clean it also ck for vacumm leaks.
