My Air bag light has just started flashing code 27, 1999 Ford F150 XL Extended cab, what is the code for and any idea of an approximate idea of cost to fix.

the code is for senser failer.a garage with a scan tool can fix this,price varies depending on what part of the country you live in.DO NOT PUT THIS OFF.if your air bag activates,one you could get hurt or killed,believe me this does happen,a air bag is the last result in a accident to keep you from going througt the windshield or smashing your face in the steering wheel.if the bag blows it can cost up to 4 grand to replace,which only a certified garage can replace.hope this helps.
