Ford: brake warning light, brake warning light, ford galaxy

Question
plz can you help me with a ford galaxy 2.0l brake warning light that comes on when applying the brake pedal only just make it out as it is rather faint then goes it does this now and again i have just replaced the discs and pads no sensors and have checked the handbrake lever that is ok but when i checked the fluid it was wet on the top where the sensor is would this short out the sensor that it is connected to and i have ordered one anyway but would this be the problem with it many thanks jason

Answer
well jason,

im having a hard time picturing exactly what you mean,  but i think i've got it figured out.  i honestly don't think that the sensor would be shorted out from the fluid on top.  it should be able to stand up to that.  i don't think you should have to buy a new sensor. hope i helped.
