Hello,
I have a 2004 Ranger V6 4L 4x4 king cab that has a bad spark plug knock. When the outside Temp is warm to hot its worse than when its cold. When i'm driving 35mph up hills to 75mph on highway without towing anything it knocks. Dealership tested and said everything was fine. My previous ranger same V6 motor did not do this. I have changed gas stations grades of gas fuel system cleaners nothing has worked so far. Thank you for taking the time to read this and look forward to hearing from you.

keven tell me what kind of gas are you using and please don't tell me it's shell.
Yes I have used shell gas also used Gulf gas, irving and gibbs all 87 octane. What do you recommend ? Same results with all of them still knocks.
Answerall these gas are poor qualty gas try chervon ,moble ahd try 89 oct then move down to 87 and this will solve your problem i also want you to go to an auto zone and have them ck your comp.for any codes and let me know.you,may have poor o2 sensors and this will cause a ping or a bad EGR valve.
