Ford: 1993 Ford F-150 Extended Cab;5.0 engine, ford f 150, pan gasket

My oil pump is going out. What is the best/easiest way to change it?

Floyd the best way is to remove both motor mounts and jack the eng up as high as it will go then place 2 short pieces of 2x4 in between the eng and the frame for safety.Then drop the pan and have at it . also when you replace the oil pan gasket make sure you get the steel one cause it is 1 piece and it makes it a lot easer    good luck
