Ford: Ford Explorer, Starter Pblem, colume, starter relay

Question
I have a 1996 Ford Explorer. When I turn the key, sometimes the car doesn't start. I know the juice is running and the battery is good, and I hear the click. I have already replaced the starter, so I know that the starter is not the problem. Sometimes I turn the key 10 times or so, and eventually it starts. It has been getting worse lately.

Thanks

Answer
I wonder if your ignition switch in the colume is bad. Then again you may have a bad relay to the starter. What I would do first is check the black box in the engine compartment, and see if the vehicle is equipped with a starter relay? Could be bad,, then again its hard to say.. Ty
