No.  As I said, there is no power at the switch.  I also have a 2001 Expedition with the same switch.  I interchanged the switches and the 99 truck switch worked on the Expedition but the Expedition switch did not work (no light, no lockout) on the 99 truck.  I also went to a parts dealer and did a codes scan, but came up with nothing. I also checked all fuses in case there was a simple fuse out. No luck.

The overdrive lockout does not work. I have checked the switch and it is good. There is no 12 volt power at the switch on the shift lever. Any ideas?

ok first does the o/d light flash at all?

Do you have access to a scanner? if not your parts dealer might. even  if the ck eng light is not on you will still have pending codes. retrieve  these codes and let me know.also see if you can enter pids. and ck o/d status to see if you have singal return. good luck
