Ford: 96 F250 4X4 Steering, pitman arm, worm gear

Question
My problem is that my steering wheel and column is extremely loose has been before and after the following...
I recently changed my P.S. pump & then had local  4x4 shop (big mistake)install a Pitman Arm and R.Tire Rod.  Afterwards, without a phone call they handed my keyes back and said "Your steering box is bad." Realizing this crew just doesn't want to work.  I installed the Steering Box myself ,flushed P.S. pump, cycled steering 6 times to bleed lines, reconnected lines, reconnected steering knuckle and then took the truck for a test drive. The steering wheel and column are extremely loose with alot of play. Any suggestions?

Answer
yes on top of your gear box there is a nut south of your p/s lines this is an adj. nut. Loosen the nut and you will also see a slot turn this a 1/2  to 3/4   of a turn to the right and tighten your nut back up. This will move the worm gear in your gear box and tighten up your box.
