Ford: car wont turn over, alternater, battery problem

Question
when I try to turn over my car, it tries once, which is a pitiful sound, and then just clicks rapidly. My lights work, both outside and interior, but when I turn my radio on, it also through the music, clicks. My battery has a green cell on top of it saying that it is fully charged though. My gage lights indicate problems occuring with battery, and engine. Do you think it's a battery problem, starter or alternater? Or something other than my deductions?

Answer
What I would do is hook up a battery charger to the vehicle let it charge for a few hours then try starting it. Make sure also your connections to the battery are clean. If it just clicks when you go to start it, you may have a bad starter.. Give this a try first..
