GM-GMC: linking fuel and dies out., orings, fuel leak

Question
It leaks fuel from where the filter attaches, I took it off and cleaned. I couldn't find any creaks anywhere and it just dies out. I would be driveng down the road then all of a sudden it just dies.

Depending on what type of fuel system your vehicle has there is generally a small o-ring on the end of line-nut which threads into your filter.  If it is a quick connect style there is also a number of seals and orings inside the end of the coupler on the line side.  Check to see if these are intact and not damaged in any way.  As for the stalling, I would repair the fuel leak first, it is possible that you are losing fuel pressure or something of that nature causing your vehicle to stall.
