GM-GMC: Heated Seats shutoff after initial startup, programming issue, heated seats

My 2004 GMC has leather heated seats. The drivers side turns on in normal fashion but shuts off after a few seconds. Repeatedly. Read about switch cycling and implemented with no improvement.
Passenger seat identical (or near identical) issue.

All other power seat functions appear to be as advertised or working normally. Only issue is seat heating.

This could be a programming issue.  I have a similar truck and had to preprogram the drivers door module for a similar concern.  Nothing was wrong with the seat elements or switches, just the module wouldn't command the seats on.  This may be what is happening with yours, no guarantees but it may be worth having your dealer check for updated programs.
