GM-GMC: 89 chevy suburban, chevy suburban, fusible links

Question
I was installing a cd player and at the end when i was enclosing all the wires, one of them touched metal and everything shut down on the truck. Nothing will come on except the light. None of the fuses are blown.

Answer
I am a little confused whether the truck has no power or the cd player.  If it is the cd player and there are no fuses blown etc, the unit itself must be damaged.  If it is the truck you are referring to, double check the fuses, use a test light to see if the fuses are getting power and check for fusible links that may have burnt up.
