GM-GMC: diesel engine swap, gmc sierra, vortec

hey... i have a '95 GMC sierra vortec v-6. i want to put a diesel engine in it.. but i want the cheapest and easiest way to do it.. i'm not sure if there is a motor that will bolt to my tranny or what so what type of engine a sort would you recommend?

That is not really my area of expertise however, most diesel's are coupled with 4L80 transmissions and most gasers are coupled with 4L60 transmissions.  There is also the difference in front springs and fuel systems etc etc.  This is a very large undertaking.
