GM-GMC: electrical, windshield wiper motor, windshield wiper switch

Question
My 2001 s-10 has an issue with the daytime running lights and wiper control as well as the gas guage. The lights rarely work so I need to use my brights almost all the time. The gas guage jumps up and down constantly and the wipers sometimes have a mind of their own. Are all of these things controlled by a central board htat I could replace or are all of these things seperate issues?

Answer
Wow.  You have some crazy stuff happening there.  I cannot say with any certainty that they are related.  My suggestion would be you pick one problem, say the wipers and follow the problem through.  If you locate the problem and repair it and the other issues are resolved, perfect.  If not, keep plugging away.
Turn your key to the on position and turn your wipers on low.  Be careful, to keep yourself clear of any parts that might be moving.  Unplug the wiper motor harness and check it using a test light.
The following are the pin/locations and functions
Terminal A  DK GRN CKT 113
Windshield Wiper Switch On Signal

Terminal B  BLK CKT  850
Ground

Terminal C  YEL CKT  143
Accessory Voltage

Terminal D  PPL CKT  92
Windshield Wiper Motor High Speed

Terminal E  GRY CKT
112
Windshield Wiper Switch Low/Pulse Signal

Hope this helps, sorry for the slow response
