GM-GMC: 06 Pontaic Pursuit Surging, pontaic, condensation

Hi my question is regarding my 2006 Pontaic Pursuit. As of recently my car has been surging very randomly. Sometimes 5 kms between surges sometimes 200 kms. And at any speed. My rpm gauge does not change when this happens. Any ideas ? Should I get it checked ? And just for more information it started when we first got a cold snap, temperatures of - 45 degrees Celsius. But when the temperature came back to above 0 for one day lol. The surging continued. Could it been condensation maybe ??? Please help, thanks.

Given that the rpm remains constant it sounds to me like a transmission related concern, I don't mean to pass the buck so to speak, but that is not my area of expertise.  Reluctantly my recommendation is to return to your dealer and seek their opinion.
