GM-GMC: Cant put gas in 2500HD 04, soleniod, fuel tank

Having problem with putting gas in my truck. The check engine light is on and the parts store I went to let me use there code reader which sead p0446,vent soleniod. Is this something Dealer only or is this something I can do my self?

cliff.   you can do this repair at home if you have enough stands to get the truck up to remove the fuel tank.  get the part from the dealer then simply install it on the tank.  be carefull not to damage any of the lines removing the tank the  fuel module is very expensive... goood luck !!!!
