GM-GMC: 6.5 wont start in morning, glow plug, glow plugs

Question
turns over fine tries to hit but wont start you can pull it 100 feet and its runing

Answer
I would believe that, if it is a diesel, you have a glow plug circuit problem.

Most likely item is several glow plugs that are burned out.  Disconnect each wire at each glow plug and test them for resistance.  They should measure 0.8 to 1.2 Ohms cold.  Anything more than twice those numbers indicates a bad glow plug.  Most bad ones will read open, like a bad light bulb.
