GM-GMC: Fuses, amp fuse, inline fuse

What fuse or fuses goto the radio in a 1992 g20 conversion van?


Answer
I do not have any information that new.

However, the fuse for the radio (if it is original equipment) is located on the fuse block that is either under a dash cover or behind and above the parking brake mechanism.

My 1984 K-2500 uses a 10 Amp fuse.

If you have an aftermarket radio, there may be an inline fuse holder.  You will have to follow the power wire (usually red in color) back to the point where it gets power in order to determine if there is an inline fuse holder.  There may also be a fuse yellow wire that provides power to the radio to maintain its station memory and/or clock settings.
