Yes, I have the owner's manual. I have checked the fuse in the dash fuse box, but it was good. Is there another fuse or relay? The indicator light on the dash almost looks like the high beam light but it is in the upper left corner of the instrament pannel, beside the Air Bag light. It is a green light.

Remind me what kind of vehicle this is please. I do believe there is also a relay under the hood.

If you let me know what kind of vehicle I may have that information.

I believe that green indicator light is the cruise control tell tale.

97 Chevy Silverado 1500 2wd Automatic. My owners manual states "Daytime Running Lamps Indicator Light." This light goes on whenever the DRL are on." "When it begins to get dark, the DRL indicator light is a reminder to turn on your headlamps."  My problem is the light is on until I turn on my headlights, but the lights do not come on themselves. If you have a way for me to send you a copy of the page in the manual, I will do so

Answer
I have the parts in the service manual about the relays, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting however this is not something I would send for free it is part of my website service for automobiles.

I have found all the documents you would need to troubleshoot and fix this problem yourself but the cost for all the paperwork would be $15.00 + 2.00 S$H.

Let me know what you would like to do. I can not help much not being able to see the vehicle and what is doing.
