GM-GMC: Payload and towing combination, lance camper, jeep wrangler

I have 2002 Cheverolet 2500 HD with a 410 rear end and a 6000 motor. I carry a Lance camper, 9.5 feet, weight 2400 lbs dry weight. Can I tow a small Jeep Wrangler on the ground safely with this configuration? The tow rating for this truck (long bed, extendede cap) is 10,000 pounds.

the only thing you need to make sure of is that the jeep can be towed on all four wheels some vehicles may not be towed this way. you would have to contact the manufacturer for that information.

As far as towing goes for your truck if you have the towing package and follow the instructions in the manual you should have no problem.

Most of the trucks like the 25 and 3500 have the package but I would need the vin to make sure.

With out that towing package and engine cooler the truck is limited to it's towing capability.
