GM-GMC: GMC Truck with 350,000 miles, sierra truck, gmc truck

This might not be right up your alley, but I'm checking this out for a friend, and so far I have gotten nowhere.
My friend has a GMC truck with around 350,000 miles on it. The really amazing part is that everything on the truck is original! Of course, parts like spark plugs, and other parts have been replaced, but the engine block and transmission are completely original, and have not been overhauled. It is a 1993 Sierra truck, and from what I understand, most of those trucks had the transmissions go out around 100,000 miles. I had heard of a car that had 300,000 miles on it that was purchased by the maker and put in a museum.

I know of people that have many more miles than that and have talked to GM and they really don't do anything other then give them an oil change. GM only one time did something with a truck that had 1 million miles.

GM always likes to here stories about the vehicles w/ high mileage so you can call 1-800-222-1020 and let them know if you like.
