GM-GMC: aftermarket add ons, mass air flow sensor, air fuel mixture

I am planning to install intake as well as exhaust system in my 2003 GMC Yukon. My question is with these installed will it screw with the computer system in the truck? Meaning will it throw off the timing, gas/air mixture..anything to do with the trucks computer system? Please answer these questions before I make an expensive mistake. Thanks.

Hey,  

  Aftermarket exhaust should be pretty straight forward just remember that all the Oxygen sensors must be left in place. Most kits will have proper fit parts for truck. You will probably not have much luck with intake parts, probably just the usual K&N and a snorkle kit or something, whatever it is, will have to use the stock Mass Air Flow sensor and this should not cause any adverse effects on the air fuel mixture or any other computer controls!
