Honda: 98 honda civic, brake rotor, bump in the road

Question
I got new tires on my car,(which could very well be unrelated)and shortly there after i noticed a noise coming from the front passenger side of the car. When i would hit my brakes it would subside but only completely go away when i make a complete stop.i drove it for about a week and now it is constant. There doesn't seem to be any connection with how fast I'm traveling. Thank you for your time.

Answer
I think you are hearing the brake pad wear indicator. This is also known as the squealer tab. As the tab touches the brake rotor, it makes a high pitched squeal. This noise will sometimes start while the car is backing up. In the beginning stage ,it will also occur after hitting a bump in the road. Have the brakes inspected a.s.a.p.
