First off, too much use of starting fluid can ruin the piston cylinder walls, as the ether tends to wash off the lubricating oil and it will cause scoring of the cylinder. Eventually, soon than later the vehicle will begin to have smoke from the leaking by the piston rings, and you will have a loss of compression, making the hard starting even worse.
If there is no problem keeping the engine running than, then I expect the fuel pump is OK and you are having a problem with the fuel rail leaking down when the vehicle is allow to sit.
The fuel rail must stay charged with fluid so the vehicle will have enough fuel to start. The leakage can be the injectors or in the black flow valve.
I would first get so Techron black bottle fuel injection cleaner. when the the fuel get down to near empty, pour the Techron in to the thank and refuel with premium fuel, preferably non ethanol based fuel.
Also, if you have not changed spark plugs lately, it would be a good idea to do so. Hot spark is important during the starting cycle.
