Mercedes: ABS dash light, c36 amg, abs light

Question
I have a 95, C36 AMG. since I bought this car, the abs/asr
lights are on, and I know when the abs light is on, asr light comes on with it( according to its manual). And I know the abs needs to be change too. How can I disable(turn off) the abs light without changing the abs system.
I very appreciate your help.

Answer
The automatic break system ABS is part of the vehicle wheel control. The ASR is the traction part of the system to avoid wheel spin. There are several reasons that these lights come on. You should find an independent wheel shop and have the breaks checked.
The ABS is on top of your conventional system but it needs to be operating for proper control in wet conditions.

If after you have the breaks checked the lights are still on or come on again after you have the system checked, you should check the break pedal switch. It can also be caused by bad sensors at the wheel or broken wires coming from the sensor.

It is not designed to be turned off for obvious reasons.
Hope this helps.
