Mercedes: 2000 E320 Console power out, night illumination, dead windows

Our console in functionally dead - windows, trunk, mirror.
Radio LCD is out too. Traction and W/S switches work. Night
illumination works. Fuses all traded out - all three boxes.
harnesses look OK inside. Wife says all blew when truck bow
wave hit her on freeway. Appreciate any ideas.

I would suspect the security alarm, or a bad ground. I would check the fuses again to make sure one is not burned if it is the glass tube type. Check the fuse diagram to determine which fuses are involved with your problem.
Turn the key off and remove the battery terminal Positive for 20 minutes. Re-attach and begin checking each electrical individually. Return the switch to it resting position after each check.
