How do you change the gas level sending unit in the tank?

I do not have expertise in removal of the sending unit in this vehicle, but a little research turned up information www.benzworld.com
There was a .pdf document showning the sending unit accessible after removal of the back seat.
However, there was also a special tool shown as part of the removal process, and a new gasket required during the reinstall.
I am unsure if these components are required for your particular model.
Standard precautions are recommended anytime you deal with petrol regarding fumes and flames or sparks. It is always the best idea to remove the battery cables before such operations.
