Mercedes: Merc 240TD 85, clutch pedal, pepole

My Merc 240TD 8/1985 with 180k miles squeals quietly when the clutch pedal is pressed. Is it a big job to repair? Is it worth doing since the body has no rust (resprayed 10 months ago)and engine starts first time and purrs as its always done? Does it have any value repaired or as it is?
