QuestionMY A/C FAN HAS STOPPED BLOWING. THE A/C COMPRESSOR SEEMS TO BE OPERATIONAL, I CAN MAKE ADJUSTMENTS IN TEMP, I CAN TURN IT OFF AND THE COMPRESSOR RESPONDS YET THE FAN IS NOT FUNCTIONAL.
COULD THIS BE THE REGULATOR AND HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO REPAIR? I'VE CHECKED ALL THE FUSES THAT I'M AWARE OF. IS THERE ADDITIONAL FUSES IN ANOTHER LOCATION? WHAT TYPE OF REPAIR COST CAN I ANTICIPATE IF I DECIDE TO USE A SHOP? PLEASE HELP.

The fan is located in the front passenger foot area between the glove box and bulkhead, there is a simple cover to remove for access.
A quarter inch metric socket set, Philip's screw driver and needle nose pliers are the only tools you need.

Many shops will replace the motor assembly and regulator, and charge $1,400.00 for the parts/service.
