Mercedes: 1987 e300 doesnt start, e300, factory alarm system

I happened again!
Where is the control unit for the alarm?
You see I think that the gas is getting to the engine because I can smell it under the hood.
My alarm, however goes off often when I open the door. I have to kinda unlock it and wait a few seconds for all the door to unlock, and then I can enter the car without the alarm going off.

So can I just remove the alarm system from it?

There was no E300 in 1987, however there was a 300E.
The car won't start with the alarm module disconnected.
