Mercedes: follow up stalling 96 e300, speedy reply, immobilizer system

Thank you for your speedy reply....Have you heard of an alarm module causing this stalling/engine cut off problem....after  an incident the car seems to start right up and is not indicitive of air getting into the fuel lines.....thanks again....mark

Very common in Australia where they have a unique immobilizer system.

In theory it is possible, however that would be a MB dealer only service diagnostic.

The leaking O rings issue is terribly common, and hard to diagnose, unless it has happened to you before.
