Mercedes: Storage of autos, car cover, mercedes

Question
We are going overseas for 2 years. We have a 1991 Mercedes 300E and 1993 Mercedes 300E which we like to leave here in the USA until we return.
Both cars are in very good condition. Other than paying for storage for 2 years, are there any suggestions? We would like to use the cars when we come back in 2 years.

The only thing I can think of if you dont want to spend any money would be to see if any of your friends or famiy in the area have room and wouldnt mind you keeping your cars there. Through a waterproof car cover over each of them and they should last.
