Mitsubishi: Car, S1000 RR, recommendation

Question
QUESTION: 1.  What benefits do you get from selling or trading old or used cars?  eg. getting rid of them and have some cash value because you no longer need it.

2. I have a Nissan Maxima, how do I get from selling it.  I still used it, but wanted to get a better car from the value that I gain from it.

ANSWER: I wouldn't sell it if you still use the car.  The Nissan Maxima, like I said before, it is an excellent car.  Its very reliable, durable, they last, and rarely break down.  Therefore I would look around for the motorcycle you are interested in and hold on to that maxima for a couple more years and get some good use out of it.  Let it pay you back some of its value, especially if you own it outright! No payments!  Who can beat that.

QUESTION: What is the best cars out there and the best motorcycle out there?  Does it comes out of Asia?  What about S1000 RR and Hondo Accord EX

Answer
The S1000 RR... man, what a bike!  I have a friend who had one of these and took me for a ride that took my breath away.  Talk about intense!  If this is going to be your first bike, I would advise against starting out with a bike with that much power.  Bikes are different than cars in the fact that you should start out smaller and work your way up.  The S1000 is a fantastic bike in every way, but it is also quite heavy.  Like I had said before in a previous reply, you would definitely want to start out with a about a 600cc or maybe a 750cc.  Ride that for a few months.  Then sell it and buy you're S1000.  Then you will be better prepared with the experience needed to handle a bike of that size.  In the 600's, I would recommend the Yamaha YZF-R6, Honda CBR-600 or 600RR, or Suzuki GSXR 600/750...  Go for one newer than 2000... they shaved off a lot of weight and body mass on all of them.  One of these bikes would give you a lot of experience with handling and because they weigh about 140 or 150 lbs. less than the S1000, have shorter wheel base, etc! They will be much easier to drive, maneuver, and learn on. Not to mention, Safer!

The Honda Accord EX, I highly recommend.  They have an excellent resale value, killer gas mileage, bulletproof engine design with or without V-tec.  You would definitely be happy with the Accord.  Go for the EX model though.  The power options are worth it, as well as, the larger V6 motor, better brakes, etc.  The rates on insurance will be fantastic too because they are a very safe car.  Its quite comparable to the Mitsubishi Galant in most aspects.  Personally, I like the Galant better... but take them both for a test drive and see what you think! :)
