Mitsubishi: Lancer EVO VII, lancer evolution vii, weight ratios

Hi,I've been into the import performance scene for several years now and i have a question. I know this may not be your field of expertise but I was wondering if Mitsubishi had any plans to bring the Lancer Evolution VII to America in even a limited or watered down form. I have heard that the regular Lancer will be available here but I wondered if the high performance EVO VII would come to America, even though I am a Honda fan I still think it would be extrememly cool and be a big boost to the import scene if they did so. Thanks for your help.

In a car magazine named EVO, the authors predicted that Mitusbishi would bring the EVO VII to these shores. Predictions were that the US version would have power-to-weight ratios similar to that of the hot new Sub WRX.

IMHO these represent either a factory teaser to the market or wishful thinking. Most factory plans stay pretty close to the chest, since they lose if their hot new model's secret hits before cars roll out dealer's doors. If they don't build it then we, the automotive public, will get mad. It's no win.
