Oldsmobile/Buick: blinking lights on dashboard, cutlass supreme, engine displacement

the service engine soon and low coolant constantly is blinking while operating. i have had the car serviced and i was told that i might disconnect battery terminal to reset the computer. could you provide any insight to this problem? thanks larry

I'm going to need the Oldsmobile Model,year and engine displacement.

it is a 1994 cutlass supreme sl with v6 3100 series or 3.1

Its a possibility that the a relay/sensor could be faulty . Resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery terminal may or may not work . Other then that modern computer controlled diagnostic system lights are out of my expertise .

Larry make sure you take the car to a qualified system mechanic that has the ability/hardware to "plug" into your cars computer diagnostic port. This way it could rule out any other factors .
