Oldsmobile/Buick: Fuel filter replacement?, fuel filter replacement, cutlass supreme

I have a 94 cutlass supreme, that in the past month, has gone from about 25 mpg to around 10.  When I pull into my garage, I smell gas.  Could this be the fuel filter?  If so, where is it located, and is it easy to remove?  I don't know much about cars, so any help is greatly appreciated.  I did replace the air filter recently.

Since I am not physically looking over your car it is hard for me to guess what your problem could be .

Personally , I would take the car to a ASE Certified mechanic and have them check over the car . A fuel leak is a serious concern and should be addressed properly .
