Pontiac: fuel pump problem, fuel pump, fuel pressure

Question
i have a 94 grand prix se.the other day i took it though a car wash and began having problems.it started to sputter and die.i thought the wires got wet but they're not.so now my car is dead in the driveway.when i turn the key on the enigine will turn but i ..cant hear the fuel pump.the fuel pump fuse is good  but what else beside the relay to find out the cause?any help would be great.thanks in advance!!!!

Answer
The computer is what turns the relay on to power up the fuel pump. Also some Grand Prix models have a two speed pump. They use a resistor to cut down the voltage to run the pump at low speed. Usually a bad resistor will cause a start and stall problem but not always. The resistor is located in the right front fender if I remember correctly.
You really need to check your fuel pressure first to see if you really do have a pump problem.
