Saab: Saab 2.0 turbo 9-3 sport combi 2001, spark plug wires, voltage shock

Question
I have a Saab 9-3 sport hatchback 01 2.0 turbo and it is the love of my life and the whole engine has been gone through with new seals water pump oil pump valves exstra and a new cam positioning sensor and now when it is at normal operating temperature and I turn the vehicle off it will not start until it cools way down is this problem due to the old direct ignition cassette my mechanic said it had a couple of shady bays their and I was wondering if that could be part of my starting problem

My hands on experience is limited to the older 900s so I can only give a generic response. If your are asking if an ignition module could be at fault, the answer is YES. You can check for spark when the condition occurs with a friend trying to start the engine and with you holding one of the spark plug wires with the plug end  1/2 inch from a metal part of the engine. You must do this VERY CAREFULLY to avoid a high voltage shock using insulated pliers, gloves, etc.
Also, can you determine just what was the FIRST occurrence of the problem. Did it appear AFTER you had all the word done? Could it be related to that work?
Typically a "non start when hot" condition is caused by an electrical breakdown of some sensor somewhere, either controlling the spark, for fuel supply.

Wish I could be of more help.
