Saab: query the control computer, saab 900, transmission problem

i saw your answer for Dave about sending the info for the query on the saab 900 I have a 1989 Saab 900 turbo convertible and i just had it stop running, i couldn't use the gears at all if i could please get, i keep being told i have a transmission problem, but it just needs to warm up then it shifts fine. please help.

  Is your car automatic or standard? My experience is limited to standards only. Also, if it is standard, can you give me more detailed info as to exactly what happens (or doesn't happen)?
