Saab: Saab - 9-3 yr=2000 Computer display problem, electronic test equipment, logic analyzers

The computer/radio display led's are screwing up.  How do you fix this?  This apparently is a defect in all Saab from 1998 thru 2003 or 4.

Ed:  There is obviously an internal electronic problem. However, it could be the result of multiple causes. One would need sophisticated  electronic test equipment [such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers) to determine them. Since I have never encountered such situations and therefore never have had to delve into such problems, I cannot offer much help.
 On the other had, you could check the wiring harness for corrosion, continuity, and pin-socket integrity; tedious, but necessary. The problem might lie there.
