Toyota: 1991 Cynos, toyota levin, cv joints

Question
I am a solo mum with no mechanical experience. My daughter has found a 1991 1.5 Cynos with a full body kit and spoiler that she really likes. It has done over 200K. It needs a rear engine mount to get a warrant of fitness apparently. Is this a common problem with Toyotas, or would it indicate something else wrong with it? I understand the Cynos is usually a good reliable car. What else should we look out for when viewing it. Bearing in mind it is an old car and has done lots of k's - should she still get a few good years out of it? Any recommendations? The price is NZD$2000.

Thanks in advance. Glad to have found this site....

Answer
A rear engine mount isn't a bad thing it usually happens on higher kilometer toyotas there isn't anything wrong with it I had to replace the front engine mount in my toyota levin that I now own when I first got it for cynos watch out for cv joints as they seem to click at higher miliages which means the cv joint is worn out she should get a good run out of it toyotas and cyno's are very good reliable cars
