I recently bought a 1995 Toyota T-100 from a small dealer. During the test drive, I noticed the speedometer did not work. I assumed it would be a simple fix. After purchasing the truck, I also noticed the odometer did not work. My guess is that they are somehow connected (fuse, wire, etc..). Is there a simple fix to this?

Typically, if both are malfunctioning, it'll most likely be the speed sensor on the transmission.  If you need to see what it looks like, shoot me the engine code and I'll send you a pic.  As far as removal, it's one bolt.

Sorry for the late reply Ken.  Well, I was unable to find a picture of the speen sensor BUT I was able to find a forum in which they talk about it and how to replace with good detail...
