Toyota: 2006 RAV4 4x4 WATER LEAK, water leak, guessing game

Hi,
There is a water leak on the passenger side floor of my 2006 RAV4.  It is VERY wet on the inside side vs. the door side of the passenger side.  

Can you help?
The car is right now at the dealer's, but after one day, they have not found the source.

Well, I'd start by blotting the wetness with a white paper towel.  This will let me see the color of the fluid.  If it's clear, it's most likely water.  If it's a tinge of red, then it's most likely Toyota red coolant.  If it's a tinge of brown, then it's probably brake fluid.

If I had to take a guess, you could have an issue in the firewall that's allowing the leak to happen.  Other than that, maybe rust that has developed?  It's a guessing game without seeing the car but that's what comes to mind for me.

Make sure what it is though, then you can go from there.
