Toyota: engine swap from 1.8 to 2.0, toyota celica, fe engine

I own a 1996 toyota celica 1.8st and have just recently swapped a 1.8 7a-fe engine for a jap import 2.0 3sge we have changed all the wiring and the ecu but the engine won't start.I have been told it could be to do with the key imobiliser. I only have 1 key for the car but it's not the master key only a copy toyota don't have the master key is there any way of bypassing the impbiliser or could there be another problem?

I'm not exactly sure that would be the case.  Was the engine tested before it was put in the car?  Is the starter fine?  Is there any sound when you try to crank the engine or is it completely silent?

P.S.  Kudos on the JDM 3SGE but why not the 3SGTE?
