Toyota: toyota car accelerator vibrates, toyota tercel, toyota car

Hi David,
I have purchased a 1996 toyota 'Tercel Joinus' from a dealer couple of weeks ago, this is a japanese used car, I have noticed that the accelerator vibrates ( I can feel it in my leg) when ever I push it a bit quick, it doesn't happen if I speed(push the accelerator) slowly, is there any defect with the car?, thanks very much for your help.

Raj, the first thing is to make sure that when you drive, you aren't resting your leg against the center console stuff.  If you leg is not touching anything and it still vibrates, you should check your motor mounts.  One of them could be worn and may need replacement;)
