Toyota: car color, 2005 toyota echo, plastic bumpers

Question
Hello Mr.Thomas,
I am buying a 2005 Toyota Echo. I am concerned about the color I have selected that you can view at toyota.com. I picked the dark green. I was wondering if some colors appear dirtier than others quicker? DO some colors show nicks and scratches more than others. If the bumper and surrounding trim is black, do you think that a darker ar lighter color will compliment it? Will one color stand up longer to sunshine than others?
Thanks

Answer
The dark green colour would get dirtier more than metallic silver or metallic blue. Some colours do show scratches and chips more than others say if you ordered black you would see the stone chips. I think it would be best to forget about the black plastic bumpers and get the colour keyed ones they look better and they won't need to be blackened up and they won't fade in the sun. I have never seen an echo 2 door before over in New Zealand we have echo hatchbacks. Impulse red is a good colour it doesn't show all of the dirt and scratches and it looks mint. If you need anymore questions answered please feel free to ask. Kind regards Dean.
