how do i fill up a automatic transmission oil onto my vw beetle

 New VWs do not have a conventional automatic transmission dipstick or filler tube in the engine compartment.  Everything must be done from under the car.  VW considers the transmission a "sealed" unit and does not recommend checking or changing the fluid unless you are having trouble or an obvious leak.  But if you must, see the procedure here:
