Volkswagen: Jetta clutch, clutch slave cylinder, clutch cylinder

Question
I have a 1995 Jetta and I just went out to start it up and found that I have absolutely no clutch.  It is sitting all the way down and just flips up and down with just a finger.  It was fine two days ago when I drove it last.  Any thoughts?  I could us any input you have.  Thanks!!

Answer
Jason,

There is a clutch slave cylinder that operates the pressure plate.

Either:

1) There is no fluid in the clutch cylinder reservoir (located near brake fluid)

or

2) The clutch slave cylinder needs replacement.

Both are a relatively simple procedure.

Happy New Year.
