QUESTION: it is running. but it will not restart after you run it for about 30 min. it was done before i got the car. it is not a new motor. thanks, leah

Answer
Leah I do not remember the specs on the fuel pump for fuel injection, but it should be MUCH higher pressure and volume than the "standard" carb pump.  A fuel pump is difficult to diagnose in terms of proper flow rate, pressure, etc.  If the cars runs well, I doubt your fuel pump is the problem.  Possible vapor lock, or carb problems.  Sorry i am not much more help.  I have kept up with the water cooled cars...but time and knowledge has escaped me.
Don't give up... there really isn't much to these little cars.
good luck,
