Volkswagen: Relays & Fuses, vw passat, condition thanks

Question
Hello my 1996 VW Passat (VR6)cranks but does not come to life. I called a mechanic who thinks the fuel pump has gone bad but I think otherwise and think its a fuse or relay problem. The problem is I do not have the owner's manual to be able to tell which fuse/relay is for what? I want to find out if a fuse/relay diagram can be made available for me to look up stuffs on.

Thank you

Answer
Absolutely.  You can purchase Bentley repair manuals online now.  I'm sure you can do a search on google to find one.  For what it is worth, pull the fuel line loose on the right side of the fuel rail... and check for fuel flow.  Normally on these engines the coil packs and crank sensors fail.  (which will cause and no start condition)
thanks and let me know if I can be of more help,
